The Trinidad and Tobago Short-Stay Rental Association (TTSRA) is the national industry association for short-stay rental hosts in Trinidad and Tobago — advocating, educating, and elevating the standard of hosting across communities.
Everything TTSRA does is designed to make hosting in T&T more professional, more rewarding, and more recognised.
We represent your interests before government agencies, the Tourism Development Authority (TDA), the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), and tourism policymakers — ensuring hosts have a seat at the table.
Access the TTSRA Host Certification Programme, workshops on guest experience, safety compliance, pricing strategy, and legal requirements.
Strategic relationships with the Tourism Development Authority (TDA), the Tobago Tourism Agency (TTA), the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), and Airbnb position our members as recognised partners in the sector.
Connect with hosts across both islands through regional chapters, our private members' community, and the annual TTSRA Host Summit.
We are a member-led, non-profit association — every dollar in our treasury exists to serve our membership and our islands' tourism sector.
Founding Members receive a permanent distinction, locked-in subscription rates, and a direct role in shaping this organisation from the ground up.
The national voice for short-stay rental hosts across Trinidad and Tobago.
Short-term rental hosting has transformed the way visitors experience Trinidad and Tobago. Yet hosts have historically operated in isolation — without a unified voice, without formal representation, and without the professional resources available to larger players in the tourism sector.
TTSRA changes that. We are a member-led, non-profit association incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, bringing hosts together to advocate, to learn, to collaborate, and to be recognised.
The Board is elected by and accountable to the membership. No host speaks for TTSRA without a mandate from the people they represent.
We engage government ministries, the TDA, the THA, and international platforms as a serious industry partner — with evidence, not just advocacy.
Resources, training, market data, and best practice toolkits that make your hosting life easier.
TTSRA is a member-led organisation. Our Board of Directors is elected by members, and our four regional chapters ensure every part of both islands is represented.
Five elected directors — President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Director at Large — accountable to the full membership.
Advocacy & Government Relations · Standards & Best Practice · Finance & Audit · Communications & Membership.
Tobago · North Trinidad · South & Central · East Trinidad — each with an elected Representative with Board observer status.
Three membership classes designed for every part of the short-stay rental ecosystem.
From the solo host to the management company to the industry advisor — there is a class for every part of the ecosystem.

Four chapters covering every corner of Trinidad and Tobago.
All members are automatically enrolled in their regional chapter. Each chapter elects a Representative who attends Board meetings as an observer.

Regional chapters are not just geographic groupings — they are the structural foundation of TTSRA's member-led model.
Each chapter elects its own Chapter Representative, who attends Board meetings with observer status and brings local issues directly to the national Board.
Chapter members connect at local meetups, share regional knowledge, and support one another through shared challenges specific to their area.
The Annual General Meeting alternates between Trinidad and Tobago every year — ensuring every member can meaningfully participate in the AGM at least every other year.
Members receive market reports and insights specific to their chapter area — occupancy trends, pricing benchmarks, and local regulatory updates.
A clear, member-accountable structure built for a professional industry association.
The Board is elected by voting members at the Annual General Meeting, which alternates between Trinidad and Tobago every year.
TTSRA's Constitution enshrines protections for Tobago's representation that cannot be removed without a special resolution of the membership.
The Tobago Chapter Representative holds a permanent non-voting observer seat on the Board — present at all meetings regardless of election outcomes.
By convention, the Vice President is drawn from the opposite island to the President — ensuring both islands are always represented at the top of the organisation.
The Annual General Meeting rotates between Trinidad and Tobago each year, making the Association's most important event accessible to members on both islands.
Our work to ensure hosts have a voice in the decisions that shape our sector.
TTSRA advocates for fair, transparent regulation that recognises the economic and cultural contribution of short-stay rental hosts — and that ensures our sector can grow sustainably alongside traditional tourism.
We engage constructively with government agencies, the Tourism Development Authority, the Tobago House of Assembly, and regional bodies — not as adversaries, but as stakeholders with a shared interest in a thriving T&T tourism sector.
Our advocacy agenda, year by year.
Building relationships with the organisations that shape the tourism sector in T&T and the region.
